Pho Thisarath II

Pho Thisarath II (full throne name Somdet Brhat-Anya Chao Bandita Buddhasa Raja Sri Sadhana Kanayudha ; * 1552 in Luang Phrabang ; † 1627 there ) was king of the Laotian kingdom of Lan Xang between 1623 and 1627 .

Pho Thisarath was born Prince ( Chao ) Ong-Lo and was the eldest son of King Phra Nga Sen Sulintara Lusai . Among other things, he became governor of Sikotabong before he was elected king by the nobles in 1623 after the death of Upayuvaraja I.

He died after four years of peace. Pho Thisarat II's successor was Mom Kaeo (r. 1627–1633).
