Laser Surg. , is a scientific journal published by Mary Ann Liebert-Verlag on behalf of the World Association for Laser Therapy , the North American Association for Laser Therapy, and the World Federation for Laser Dentistry . The journal was founded in 1983 under the name Laser Medicine & Surgery News and Advances , changed the name to Journal of Clinical Laser Medicine & Surgery in 1990 , before the current name was adopted in 2004. It appears twelve issues a year. Works are published that deal with phototherapy and the use of lasers in medicine.
