The Bogchigir ( Russian Гора Богхигир ) is a mountain in the south of the Pamir Mountains in Central Asia .
The glaciated mountain is located in the Berg-Badakhshan Province in southeast Tajikistan . With a height of 5780 m, it forms the highest elevation of the mountain range of the same name. To the west lies the Toguzbulok river valley , to the north lies the Jaschilkul lake and the Gunt valley. In the south, the Koj-Tezek-Pass with a height of 4271 m forms the reference gap.
