Phuchterwa Shönnu Gyeltshen ( Tibetan : phu chung ba gzhon nu rgyal mtshan ; * 1031 ; † 1106 , short: Phuchterwa , Puqiongwa普 穷 哇, Phurchungpa ) was an important clergyman of the Kadam tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.

He was a student of Atisha and Drom Tönpa . Among the students of Drom Tönpa he counted together with Chengawa Tshälthrim Bar (Tibetan: spyan snga ba tshul khrims 'bar ; 1038–1103) and Potowa Rinchen Sel ( Tibetan po to ba rin chen gsal ; * 1027 in Phenyül ( ' phan yul ) ; † 1105 ) to the so-called "Three Brothers".

The gdams ngag branch (Tibetan gdams ngag pa ) of the Kadampa goes back to him.
