Physcia stellaris is a species of leaf lichen that ismore common in Central Europeand that settles on tree bark.
description
The rosette-star-shaped bearing of Physcia stellaris is white-gray to gray. The thallus lobules are 0.5 to 1.5 (rarely up to 3) mm wide, white to light brown on the underside. In contrast to the very similar Physcia aipolia , the camp is not dotted with white. The dark brown, partly frosted apothecaries (diameter 0.7 to 3 mm) occur frequently and have a camp-colored edge.
distribution
Physcia stellaris grows on the bark of preferably free-standing shrubs or deciduous trees, often on thinner branches or in forks. It is absent in areas with higher levels of air pollution.
