The Physeter Rocks are a group of cliff rocks off the west coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . They are located west of Ohlin Island in the Palmer Archipelago .
Aerial photographs of the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (FIDASE, 1955–1957) were used to map them. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after the Latin name Physeter catodon for the sperm whale .
