Pia Pensaari (born October 8, 1983 in Ylöjärvi ) is a Finnish cyclist who competes in races on track , road and cyclo-cross .
Athletic career
Pia Pensaari has been active in cycling since 2008. Since then she has become Finland's dominant cyclist on the track, who regularly represents the country in international competitions. At the UEC European Railway Championships in 2012 , she finished tenth in the Omnium . Up to and including 2018, she won at least eleven titles in various rail disciplines.
In addition to track cycling, Pensaari is also active in cross-country and road races. In 2014 she was third in the Finnish Cyclo-cross Championship. In both 2015 and 2018 she finished third in the national road championship. In 2016 she won a stage in the Finnish road race NEA . In 2019 she became Finnish road champion for the first time after winning numerous national titles on the track.
