The Picton Road is a main road in the east of the Australian state of New South Wales . It connects Remembrance Drive in Picton with the Princes Highway in Wollongong .

In Picton the road branches off from Remembrance Drive (S89) to the southeast and crosses the Nepean River . Soon after, the road crosses the Hume Highway (N31) and continues its way southeast along the Cordeaux River and Cordeaux Reservoirs .

At Mount Keira , Picton Road bends sharply north and immediately afterwards reaches the Southern Freeway (R1). Together with him it leads to Wollongong, where it ends on the Princes Highway (S60).

Accidents

Picton Road is known to be very dangerous between Picton and the Southern Freeway. Many fatal accidents are due to driver human error.
