Piero Antonio Bonnet
Piero Antonio Bonnet (born August 2, 1940 in Comacchio ; † February 18, 2018 in Rome ) was an Italian legal scholar.
Life
From 1947 to 1953 he studied at the Nobile Collegio Mondragone of the Jesuits in Frascati .
After teaching the Faculty of Law at the University of Modena, he took on important roles at the University of Teramo, where he was President of the Faculty of Law, Prector and Director of the Technical School of Legal Disciplines and Director of the Department of Law in Society and in history and member of the academic senate. He also taught at the Pontifical Lateran University and the Pontifical Gregorian University.
On May 20, 2009 he was welcomed by Pope Benedict XVI. appointed iudex unicus of the State of Vatican City and replaced the late Gianluigi Marrone.
