Piero Bolzon

Piero Bolzon (born November 24, 1883 in Genoa , † December 5, 1945 in Rome ) was an Italian journalist, member of the Futurists and then a fascist politician.

Life

Bolzon was seriously wounded in World War I , joined the Futurist Party in 1918 and was taken over by the Fascist Party of Italy after it merged . Unlike the leader of the Futurists, Filippo Tommaso Marinetti , he remained loyal to Mussolini even after the party's opening to the right . From 1924 to 1943 he was a member of the Camera dei deputati . From 1925 to 1933 he was Vice President of the National Accident Insurance and from November 6, 1926 to December 18, 1928, Undersecretary of State in the Colonial Ministry. He was a member of the Consiglio di Stato from 1929 to 1944. On February 6, 1943, he was appointed senator .
