Pierre-Joseph Tiolier (born March 17, 1763 in London , † June 27, 1819 in Bourbonne-les-Bains , Canton of Bourbonne-les-Bains ) was a medalist of French coins and medals.

Tiolier, the son of French parents, was a pupil of Benjamin Duvivier in Paris, where he delivered stamps for medals and coins. In March 1803 he was appointed chief coin and seal engraver ( Graveur Général des Monnaies ). He held this office for 13 years until 1816.

In 1816 he was awarded the Ordre de Saint-Michel .

His son Pierre Nicolas Tiolier (1784-1853) became a sculptor, but also worked as a medalist.
