Pierre Carron
Pierre Carron (born December 16, 1932 in Fécamp ) is a French artist.
Life
Pierre Carron studied drawing and composition at the École Régionale des Beaux-Arts in Le Havre and later at the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris . From 1951 he attended the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. There was Raymond Legueult his teacher. In 1957 he was awarded the Prix de la critique. The Grand Prix de Rome followed in 1960 . From 1967 he was a professor in Paris. In 1990 he was elected a member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts, he was the successor of Félix Labisse . In 2002 he was chairman of the academy.
