Pierre Carteus (born September 24, 1943 in Ronse , East Flanders Province , † February 4, 2003 ibid) was a Belgian football player .

Career

societies

Carteus began playing football in his hometown at KFC Ronse in 1955 . He made his first team debut in 1959. In 1964 he moved to KSK Roeselare for two years . From there he went to FC Bruges in 1966 , with whom he won the Belgian football cup in 1968 and 1970 and was Belgian champion in 1973. In 1974 he left Club Bruges and was subsequently active in lower-class clubs. At the age of 40 he ended his playing career in 1984 in his hometown with AS Ronse.

National team

Pierre Carteus played two international matches for the Belgian national football team in 1970 , in which he was without a goal. In the same year he was in the squad of the Belgian team at the World Cup in Mexico , but remained without use during the tournament.
