Pierre II. D'Amboise († 1418/22) from the House of Amboise was Lord of Amboise , Vice Count of Thouars , Count of Benon and Sire de Talmont . He was the son of Ingelger I. d'Amboise and Isabeau de Thouars, Comtesse de Dreux et de Benon.

In 1397, as the nephew of Peronelle de Thouars, he inherited the vice-county of Thouars, which - especially after the confiscation of Amboise - became the central part of the property of the Amboise family and considerably increased the power of the family. In 1404 he inherited the Châtellenie Talmont from his mother and aunt Marguerite de Thouars. Pierre d'Amboise was a loyal follower of Connétable Arthur de Richemont , which also extended to his opposition to King Charles VII .

Pierre d'Amboise was his first marriage on April 5, 1374, Jeanne de Rohan, Dame de Noyon , daughter of Jean I. de Rohan and Jeanne de León, and widow of Robert d'Alençon, Count of Le Perche ( House of Valois-Alençon ). From this marriage he had a son, Ingelger, who died before his father. His second marriage, with Isabeau de Goyon, daughter of Bertrand III, Seigneur de Matignon ( Goyon House ), and Marie de Rochefort, remained childless.

He was buried in the Church of the Franciscans (OFM) (Église des Cordeliers) in Amboise. His successor in Amboise, Thouars, Benon and Talmont was his nephew Louis d'Amboise .
