Pierre Legendre

Pierre Legendre (born June 15, 1930 in Normandy) is a French legal historian and psychoanalyst . After completing his law degree in 1957, he began his psychoanalytic training following the teaching of Jacques Lacan . In his writings he explores the linguistic foundations of law and psychoanalysis. He is Professor Emeritus at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and taught at the École pratique des hautes études .
