Pierre Marie Halter

Pierre Marie Halter (* 1925 ) is a Swiss lawyer and a senior division officer . D. the Swiss Army .

Halter studied law at the universities in Friborg and Bern , where he was an active member of the associations of the Swiss student association AKV Alemannia and AKV Burgundia . From 1954 he joined the Swiss Army as an instruction, where he was assigned to the General Staff in 1959. In 1975, Halter was promoted to division general in the Swiss Army. He was a member of various commissions of the CVP , such as the Foreign Policy and Security Commission. From 1987 to 1992, Halter was President of the Elder Men’s Association of the Swiss Student Association .
