Pierre Rissient

Pierre Rissient (born August 4, 1936 in Paris ; † May 5, 2018 there ) was a French film director , producer and screenwriter . Pierre Rissient made his first film Alibis in 1977.

Life

Pierre Rissient spent the war years with his grandparents in the country. Back in Paris in 1945, he attended the Carnot et Pasteur schools. Rissient met the director Henri Decoin and became his assistant. Rissient also became second assistant to Claude Chabrols Les Cousins (1959) and first assistant director to Jean-Luc Godard's Out of Breath (1959). On Avenue MacMahon, he was the programmer for MacMahon Cinema. As a filmmaker , Rissient was the screenwriter and director of Alibis , also known as One Night Stand (1977), and Cinq et la Peau (1982).
