Pierre Verdé-Delisle
Pierre Verdé-Delisle (born May 16, 1877 in Trie-la-Ville , † July 18, 1960 in Paris ) was a French tennis player .
biography
Verdé-Delisle took part in the tennis competition of the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris . He was the only one who only took part in the mixed doubles . There he started with his compatriot Antoinette Gillou . The pairing lost to Hedwiga Rosenbaumová and Archibald Warden in three sets. In 1908 Verdé-Delisle took part in the tournament at Wimbledon and was eliminated in singles and doubles in the first match.
In addition to sports, the Frenchman was a doctor.
