The Pieschener Hafen is a port on the Elbe in the Dresden district of Pieschen (statistical district of Pieschen-Süd ).

Contrary to what its name suggests, the harbor basin is for the most part in the old Neudorfer Flur and thus in the Neustadt district . Only a small section at the lower end of the pier belongs to the Pieschen district .

This port was built between 1856 and 1859 on behalf of the Saxon state government because of the sharp increase in shipping traffic. The harbor basin is 500 meters long and about 30 meters wide. There was space for up to 30 ships. In the vicinity of the port there was also a steamboat landing stage and an Elbe bathing establishment, which the residents liked to use . Barges were temporarily repaired here in a small shipyard.

When the Alberthafen went into operation , the importance of the Pieschener Hafen decreased. Today the port is only used as a winter port. The Pieschen Harbor Festival has been taking place annually since 1923 .

Between October 5th, 2009 and September 9th, 2010 the pier bridge was built over the port entrance . This closes a gap in the Elberadweg via the harbor mole. The 80-meter-long cable-stayed bridge is connected to the 600-meter-long cycle path on the pier by a 70-meter-long ramp.
