Piet Valkenburg

Piet Valkenburg ( November 8, 1888 - September 10, 1950 ) was a Dutch football player .

Valkenburg played for HBS Craeyenhout in The Hague from 1906 to 1913 . For the first team, the defender played 79 games in which he scored two goals.

In 1911 he was a member of the Dutch national football team . However, it wasn't until March 10, 1912 that he was used in the KNVB team. When playing in Antwerp Kiel Stadium of VAC Beerschot against Belgium he stood next to the also debuting Wim Bronger in defense of the team with the game 2: 1 decision for themselves. There are no other missions for Valkenburg in the national team.

On June 14, 1913, at the age of 24, he was made an honorary member of HBS Craeyenhout.
