Petrus van Reenen (born January 17, 1909 in Utrecht , † June 8, 1969 in Amsterdam ) was a Dutch football player .
Between 1929 and 1942 he played for the Dutch honorary divisionist Ajax Amsterdam . During this time he played 237 games for the club, in which he scored 272 times. This makes him the best goalscorer who has ever played at Ajax, ahead of the legendary Johan Cruyff . Between 1930 and 1938 he was the club's top goalscorer every year, which is why he was nicknamed Goaltjes-Piet by fans . In 1932 he scored seven goals in a game against BV Veendam , which is still Ajax's internal record today. During his time at Ajax, Van Reenen was able to win the national championship four times.
He played two international matches for the Dutch national soccer team , but could not convince there.
