Pieta van Dishoeck

Pieta Roberta van Dishoeck (born May 13, 1972 in Hilversum ) is a former Dutch rower .

The 1.78 m tall Pieta van Dishoeck from the Skøll rowing club in Amsterdam moved up to Eeke van Nes in the double scull in 1997 , and they took fourth place at the World Championships . In 1998 the two Dutch women dominated the World Cup with victories in Hazewinkel and Lucerne, at the World Championships in Cologne the Americans Batten / Lindsay won ahead of the Dutch women . The following year, at the World Championships in Canada, the German two-man with Thieme / Boron won ahead of the Chinese, van Nes and van Dishoeck received the bronze medal.

Thieme / Boron also won the final of the 2000 Olympic Games , Eeke van Nes and Pieta van Dishoeck won the silver medal behind them. Both won another silver medal with the Dutch eighth behind the Romanian defending champions.
