Pieter Blokland

Pieter Blokland (* 1920 ; † 1976 ) was a Dutch civil engineer.

Blokland was the head of the locks and barrages department of the Rijkswaterstraat (Dutch hydraulic engineering administration) in the 1950s. Under his direction, the Haringvlietdam barrage (in use since 1970) of the Delta Plan was designed and built.

In 1975 he received the Emil Mörsch Memorial Medal .
