Pieter Jacobs (born June 6, 1986 in Brasschaat ) is a Belgian racing cyclist .
Athletic career
Pieter Jacobs started his career in 2005 with the Continental Team Amuzza.com-Davo . A year later, the team was transformed into the farm team of the Belgian Equipe Unibet.com . That year he took sixth place at the Clásica Memorial Txuma . Jacobs has been driving for the ProTour team at Unibet.com since 2007 . At the Tour Down Under 2007 he was second in the junior ranking, the following year he was third in the overall ranking of the Tour of Turkey . In 2011 he finished second at Halle-Ingooigem .
In 2013 Jacobs took second place in Rund um Köln and won the Omloop van het Waasland and Schaal Sels races . In 2014 he finished fourth in the Eschborn-Frankfurt financial center . He ended his cycling career in 2016, but returned as a racing driver in 2018. He started at the Belgian road championships and won several smaller Belgian races.
