Pietro Gandolfi

Pietro Gandolfi (born April 21, 1987 in Parma ) is an Italian racing driver .

Career

Gandolfi began his motorsport career in karting in 2000 , where he was active until 2004. In 2005 he debuted in the winter series of the Italian Formula Renault in Formula racing . In 2006 he took part in five races in the regular championship of the Italian Formula Renault. In 2007 he moved to Emmebi Motorsport in the Swiss Formula Renault and stayed in this championship for two seasons. After finishing 21st in his first season, he finished 26th in the drivers' championship in 2008.

In 2009 he switched to the revived FIA Formula 2 Championship . Gandolfi remained without points for the entire season and at the end of the season came last with a 14th place as the best result in the drivers' standings. In 2010 Gandolfi was not active in any racing series.
