Pieve d'Alpago

Pieve d'Alpago is a place and a former Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1872 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2015) in the province of Belluno in Veneto . The municipality of Pieve d'Alpago merged with Farra d'Alpago and Puos d'Alpago on February 23, 2016 to form the new municipality of Alpago . The place is about 14 kilometers northeast of Belluno on the Cellina.

The community emerged at the beginning of the 11th century.

Parish partnership

Pieve d'Alpago has had a partnership with the Lithuanian city of Kalvarija in the Suvalkija region since 2005 .
