The Pik Karakol ( Russian пик Каракольский , Pik Karakolski ) is a mountain in the Tian Shan in Central Asia .
At 5216 m (according to other sources 5281 m ) it is the highest mountain in Terskej-Alatau . The mountain is located in the Issyk Kul region in eastern Kyrgyzstan . The nutrient areas of several glaciers lie on its north and south flanks .
