The Pike River is a river in the east of the Australian state of South Australia .
The water-rich but short tributary of the Murray River rises in Riverland , a floodplain landscape of the Murray, near Paringa in the Pike Lagoon and flows first to the south and then in an arc to the west. After about 35 kilometers of flow , it flows into the Murray from the left above Lyrup .
