The list of rivers in South Australia gives an overview of all rivers in the Australian state of South Australia ( German South Australia , abbreviation: SA).
The fourth largest state in Australia stretches from the Great Australian Bight into the Great Artesian Basin and to the up to 1,440 m high Musgrave Ranges ; the land area is 983,480 km 2 . The arid parts of the country bordering the Northern Territory and Western Australia belong to the indigenous people, the Aborigines .
