geography
River course
The Strzelecki Creek branches off from Cooper Creek at Innamincka to the south. It continues its course south and crosses the Strzelecki desert . In the south of this desert it feeds the salt lake Lake Blanche, which is connected to the neighboring Lake Callabonna by further watercourses .
The Strzelecki Track , a slope that connects Innamincka with the town of Lyndhurst on the edge of the North Flinders Ranges , runs parallel to the middle and lower reaches of the river .
Flowing lakes
The Strzelecki Creek flows through several water holes, some of which are filled with water even when the river is dry.
