The Pilot Glacier is a short and strongly fissured glacier in East Antarctica, Victoria Land . In the Mountaineer Range it flows along the southeast flank of the Deception Plateau to the Aviator Glacier .
The northern group of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1962–1963) named it in memory of the achievements of the pilots of the United States Navy's VX-6 squadron in Antarctica.
