The Pinheirense Esporte Clube is a football club from the Icoaraci district of Belém , the capital of the state of Pará in Brazil .
history
It was only in the thirtieth year of its existence that Pinheirense entered the competition for the national championship in 1955 with his men's team. For the longest time he has remained inferior. In 2016 he won the second division championship, but was immediately relegated from the first division again in the 2017 season. He has not yet been able to qualify for the national championship or the cup competition .
The club has other ambitions in women's football , which it entered with a team in 2009. As one of the few clubs, it has participated in all seasons of the national championships that have been held since 2013. In the 2017 season he had to compete in the newly established second division (Série A2) due to his rating in the CBF ranking, whose championship he was able to win and thus complete the promotion to the first division for the 2018 season.
