Pinkofen is a parish village in the Schierling market in the Regensburg district in Bavaria. Pinkofen was the seat of the municipality of the same name until 1978 .

history

The original church in the village dates from the 15th century and is still partially preserved as a soul chapel. Today's Catholic parish church of St. Nicholas was rebuilt in 1896. The community Pinkofen originated with the Bavarian municipality edict of 1818. On May 1, 1978 Pinkofen was to Hemlock incorporated.

Attractions

The list of monuments includes the Catholic parish church of St. Nicholas and the choir tower of the former parish church (soul chapel).
