The Pinscher Schnauzer Club 1895 (PSK) is a German dog breeding association .

history

The PSK was founded in 1895 and has its seat in Cologne , the main office is in Remscheid . The PSK is a member of the Association for German Dogs (VDH) and thus indirectly also a member of the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI).

structure

In the Pinscher-Schnauzer-Klub there are 17 regional groups, which in turn consist of different local groups. They organize regular dog shows , at which the six breeds of German Pinscher , Miniature Pinscher , Affenpinscher , Giant Schnauzer , Schnauzer and Miniature Schnauzer are exhibited, some of them practice dog sports and conduct companion dog tests .

On its website, the PSK offers not only contact with breeders, but also the placement of puppies and young dogs as well as detailed breed portraits of the breeds they look after. In addition, the respective breed standards of the FCI can be viewed, which are determined by the club and according to which it breeds.
