Pinware is a municipality ( town ) in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador .

Pinware is located on the south coast of Labrador . The place is on Pinware Bay to the northwest of Belle Isle Road . North of Pinware the Pinware River flows into the sea. There is the Pinware River Provincial Park on a headland .

The Trans-Labrador Highway ( Route 510 ) runs through pinware. Pinware is located in West St. Modeste in the west and Red Bay in the east.

In 2011 the community of Pinware had 107 inhabitants and in 2016 there were only 88 inhabitants.
