Maschewe ( Ukrainian Машеве ; Russian Машево Maschewo ) is a village in the north of the Ukrainian Oblast Chernihiv with about 850 inhabitants (2001).

The village, first mentioned in writing in the fifteenth century, was until September 2018 the administrative center of the district council of the same name in the northeast of Semeniwka Raion , to which the village of Ferubky ( Ферубки , ) with about 40 inhabitants belonged. Maschewe has been part of the territorial community of the city of Semenivka since September 2018 .

The village is located on the banks of the Irvanets ( Ірванець ), a 35 km long, left tributary of the Rewna ( Ревна ) and on the regional road P-65 between the 21 km northwest of Semenivka Rajon center and the 38 km southeast of Novhorod-Siverskyj . The Chernihiv Oblast Center is 140 km southwest of the village.
