Pio Guizzardi
Pio Guizzardi (born October 15, 1879 in Bologna , Italy ; † July 27, 1944 ) was an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Bologna .
Life
Pio Guizzardi received on 24 May 1902, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On April 11, 1936, Pope Pius XI appointed him . as titular bishop of Pharsalus and auxiliary bishop in Bologna. The Archbishop of Bologna, Giovanni Cardinal Nasalli Rocca di Corneliano , donated him episcopal ordination on May 5th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Gorizia and Gradisca , Carlo Margotti , and the Bishop of Piacenza , Ersilio Menzani .
