Pio Schurti

Pio Schurti (born June 8, 1964 in Triesen ) is a Liechtenstein politician ( DU ). From 2013 to 2017 he was a member of the Liechtenstein Parliament .

biography

Schurti grew up with siblings on a farm in Triesen . Coming from a family close to the Progressive Citizens' Party , he ran for the FBP in the 1997 state election, but was unable to win a seat .

In February 2013 , Schurti was elected to the Landtag of the Principality of Liechtenstein for The Independent. As a Member of Parliament, he is a member of the Foreign Policy Commission and the Judges Selection Committee, as well as a deputy in the Liechtenstein delegation for the Interparliamentary Union . In the state elections in February 2017 , he ran again but was unable to defend his mandate.

Schurti works as a communications consultant. He is married and has four kids.
