The Pipe Cove is a small cove on the west coast of Signy Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is south of Thulla Cove and east of Jebsen Rocks .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out surveys between 1947 and 1950. Aerial photographs were taken in 1968 by the Royal Navy . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2004 after an old water pipe ( English pipe ), the whalers had left here.
