Pirro Maria Gabrielli
Pirro Maria Gabrielli , also Pyrrhus Maria Gabrielli (born April 1, 1643 in Siena / Italy , † December 19, 1705 ibid) was an Italian doctor , professor of medicine and member of the academy of scholars " Leopoldina ".
Pirro Maria Gabrielli was a scientist, doctor and professor of medicine and theoretical botany at the University of Siena . In 1691 he founded the “ Accademia dei Fisiocritici ” in Siena . He was also active as a mathematician, logician and philosopher.
On May 14, 1696, Pyrrhus Maria Gabrielli with the nickname Straton I was accepted as a member ( registration number 220 ) in the Sacri Romani Imperii Academia Caesareo-Leopoldina Naturae Curiosorum .
