Placidus Denzinger
Placidus Denzinger OSB (* 1907 in Absberg ; † June 28, 1985 ) was a clergyman, economist and sub prior of the Plankstetten monastery .
Life
Karl Franz Denzinger entered the Benedictine Abbey of Plankstetten, took the religious name Placidus and made his profession in 1928 . He was ordained a priest in 1932. After studying theology, he studied agriculture at the Technical University of Munich from 1933 to 1935 and was then administrator of the monastery until 1976. He was a member of the Advisory Board of the Bavarian Farmers' Association - District Board of Upper Palatinate. From 1959 to 1976 he was a teacher at the monastery middle school.
