Plaisance is a community on the southwestern edge of the Canadian province of Québec . The place has 1103 inhabitants and is located on Highway 148 from Montreal (160 km) to Gatineau (70 km) and on the Ottawa River , which forms the border with the province of Ontario here.

Cascades of the Chutes de Plaisance

The main attractions are the Chutes de Plaisance waterfalls to the north of the town , which cascade down a total of 63 m in several cascades , and the Parc national de Plaisance , which consists mainly of bird-rich wetlands on the Ottawa River.
