The Playa Daniel is a beach in the north of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located immediately southeast of Playa El Módulo and extends to Punta Haydée on the east side of Cape Shirreff on the northern foothills of the John Paul II peninsula .
Scientists of the 20th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1965-1966) named him after Daniel Torres Navarro, who was involved in the first census of the mammal population in the area.
