Rosarito , officially Playas de Rosarito , is a city in the Mexican state of Baja California . It is the seat of the Municipios Playas de Rosarito and has 65,278 inhabitants.
The city is located on the west coast of Lower California, about 35 minutes' drive south of Tijuana . Close to town are Fox Studios, where many scenes from the Titanic film were filmed. Some items from the film are now on display in a museum near the city.
