The Plietlgraben is an approximately 0.6 kilometer long right tributary of the Kainach in Styria .

The Plietlgraben is being built in the eastern part of the municipality of Kainach near Voitsberg , in the eastern part of the cadastral municipality of Kainach , northwest of the main town of Kainach near Voitsberg, northeast of the Eisner farm and southwest of the Blütl inn. It flows first in a right-hand arc, then in a flat left-hand arc and then in a right-hand arc that ends abruptly in a straight line to the east. In the northeast of the cadastral community of Kainach, it flows southeast of the Blütl inn about 100 meters west of the L341 into the Kainach , which then turns a little to the right. On the opposite bank, but at the same level as the mouth, a branch branches off from the Kainach. On its course, the Plietlgraben takes on an unnamed watercourse from the right.
