Plottier is a city in the Department of Confluencia in the east of the Neuquén province in southwest Argentina .

origin of the name

The city bears the name of its founder, the Uruguayan doctor Alberto Plottier.

history

After the desert campaign , the first inhabitants of the city settled (then called Colonia Sayhueque ). The city was officially founded on March 26, 1935.

Plottier lies on the left bank of the Limay River . It is located 15 km from the capital of the province .
