The Pockleitengraben is being built in the eastern part of the municipality of Kainach near Voitsberg , in the northwestern part of the Kohlschwarz cadastral municipality , northwest of Hof Lex. In the upper reaches it flows relatively straight and in the lower reaches first in a flat left and then in a flat right curve to the northwest. In the northeast of the cadastral community of Kainach it flows south of the Jagglwirt inn into the Kainach , which then turns right. On its course, the Pockleitengraben has three unnamed watercourses from the left and three from the right.
