Poker Central is an American limited liability company headquartered in Las Vegas . The company organizes poker tournaments as well as poker tournament series and, with PokerGO, sells the leading live streaming portal for poker .
history
Poker Central was founded in October 2015 by American entrepreneur and poker player Cary Katz . The poker tournaments were initially played exclusively in the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas . There organized poker Central u. a. the Super High Roller Bowl , which was played outside of Las Vegas for the first time in March 2018. In addition, the company organizes the Poker Masters and US Poker Open poker tournament series at the Aria Resort & Casino and, since 2019, the British Poker Open and Australian Poker Open, which have been held elsewhere . All of those tournaments are broadcast live on the paid live streaming platform PokerGo , which is distributed by Poker Central . The portal also secured transmission rights for selected events from the World Series of Poker , the World Series of Poker Europe and partypoker Live, as well as for the annual Global Poker Awards .
