Australian Poker Open 2020

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Australian Poker Open 2020 was the first edition of this poker tournament series and was hosted by Poker Central . The seven high roller tournaments with buy-ins between 10,000 and 100,000 Australian dollars were played from January 25 to February 1, 2020 at the Star Gold Coast in the Australian Gold Coast .

structure

Of the seven tournaments, five were played in the No Limit Hold'em variant . There were also two events in Pot Limit Omaha . Due to the high buy-in, only the world's best poker players and wealthy businessmen could be found at the tournaments. The tournaments were designed for two days. Stephen Chidwick collected the most points across all tournaments and therefore won the Australian Poker Championship . Following the Australian Poker Open , the Super High Roller Bowl Australia was played in Sydney with a buy-in of 250,000 Australian dollars.
