Poker Masters Online PLO Series

Poker Masters logo

The Masters Poker Online Series PLO was the fifth staging of this tournament series and the first in which only the variant PLO was played. The 16 high roller tournaments with buy-ins of at least US $ 5200 were played online on the partypoker platform from June 21-29, 2020 .

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic , the tournament series was not held as usual in the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas , but in the partypoker online poker room . In April of the same year, the Poker Masters Online was the first online tournament to be held there. Eelis Pärssinen collected the most points across all tournaments and therefore received a purple jacket , the so-called Poker Masters Purple Jacket ™ , and 50,000 US dollars . The final table of the more expensive event was broadcast live daily on the paid online platform PokerGO .

Purple jacket

The most successful player in the tournament series was determined by a point system. Every player who ended up in the prize ranks in one of the 16 tournaments collected points in addition to the prize money. Eelis Pärssinen placed six times in the money and won the fifth tournament, which brought him total prize money of around 735,000 US dollars.
